Title: Ongoing fees increase in Companies House: What you need to know

Companies House announced increasing their fees from 01 May 2024. In this article we are going to discuss which fees are increasing and difference between previous fee and new updated fee.

• Incorporation Fee: First we will discuss most commonly use service which is company incorporation. Their basic cost to form company in uk electronically rises from £12 to £50 and incorporation using same by software will also rises to £30 to £78. If you want to incorporate company using paper form by post then new cost will be £71.

• Confirmation Statement: Cost to file confirmation statement will also increasing. Right now cost to file CS01 electronically is £13 which will be rises to £34 from 01 May 2024. If you file it by post then cost will increases from £40 to £62.

• Change of Name: Application to change of company name fee rises from £8 to £20 electronically and by paper form it will be £30. If you want to change your company name same day then new charges will be £83.

• Voluntary strike off: Fee to voluntary strike off company increases from £8 to £33 electronically. Through paper form it will rises from £10 to £44.

• Administrative Restoration: Administrative restoration fee also increasing from £100 to £468.
